Bathing Beauties

Stephanie Wohlner introduced elegant glamour into this Arizona abode, in a silvery primary bath. Adorning the walls, Shangri-La in Silver Stardust is a modern floral wallcovering by Phillip Jeffries. Sarah Jacquelyn Schwuchow of Sarah Jacquelyn Interiors created this stylish and glamorous retreat with emerald and magenta details for her Chicago clients, proving that a little bit of drama can go a very long way. A wallcovering with a reptilian-inspired print from Zoffany adds texture, and lighting by Arteriors, through CAI Designs, coordinates with the elegance of the brass fittings and hardware. Designer Laura Tribett of Outline Interiors created this cheerful bath in a tiny space for clients in the historic Cudahy Mansion in Chicago. The colors are inspired by a silk scarf the client brought back from China, which holds pride of place over the custom floating vanity. Designer Renae Harma was called in to help her clients update an existing primary bath with a dated look and an awkward layout. She reconfigured the room to allow for a large shower, a freestanding tub with gracious proportions, and a separate water closet. She then added tall cabinetry and installed mercury-glass doors for sparkle. Draperies, in fabric by Kravet, frame the tub, and graceful Thomas O’Brien sconces and a Talia bubble chandelier by Visual Comfort, through CAI Designs, illuminate the room.
