A light-filled kitchen in Chicago, by designer Alexandra Kaehler, used a more subdued color palette to contrast with the rest of the home, which is filled with both bright color and pattern. Reflective finishes and pale creams and blues amplify the abundant light that pours in

In the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, designer Debra Weninger remodeled a home for a young couple, their children, and their extended family. The final remodel is infused with color, texture, art, and joy, and reflects the blending of the family’s Indian and American culture.
