The Full Range
From neutral to bold, designers are mixing it up in the kitchen.

Rebel House designed a welcoming and functional kitchen for a young family to grow into as part of a larger home renovation. The kitchen design features inset custom cabinets, which are a mix of white oak and white painted, and are intended to be a playful rendition of a slim Shaker profile. The quartzite on the countertops travels up the backsplash and wraps the hood. The new layout, upgraded appliances from Wolf, Monogram, and Sub-Zero, and modern storage elements offer a beautifully designed hub for the bustling family. Sean Michael Carter and Barrie Sprang of Sapphire Pear Interior Design created a kitchen in brilliant jewel tones for a client who was referred by a colleague. They rose to the occasion with a design that embraced luxury and functionality in a delightful palette of glossy eggplant, rich emerald, sophisticated jewel blue, rich walnut, and hammered-copper accents. Thoughtfully tailored to the clients’ lifestyle, the space features lilac marble and rose quartz from Artistic Tile, and a unique Parisian wallpaper, creating a functional yet elegant maximalist environment for both daily use and entertaining. For this kitchen remodel in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Kowalske Kitchen & Bath transformed a too-small kitchen in a 100-year-old, English-style cottage. The owners love to host family and friends, so the designers created a new layout and added a folding door that opens to the porch and backyard. The kitchen features a white oak hutch and island, handmade tile, shiplap walls, and brass hardware. Left: For a rooftop, outdoor kitchen, designers maxed out the functionality of the space with the new Caliber x David Rockwell outdoor grill. The grill comes in various sizes, including a 60-inch, freestanding model, and comes in a choice of either propane or natural gas. The Rockwell grills feature a fully retractable, disappearing lid equipped with a special counterbalance mechanism that ensures smooth transitions when opening or closing. This is Caliber’s first partnership with True Residential and combines two iconic American brands.

A serene, monochromatic kitchen by Devon Grace Interiors features quartzite countertops that travel up the backsplash and envelop the hood. The island was designed with symmetry in mind, while also maximizing functionality for the space. Details like the 5-foot-long sink, two dishwashers by Miele, a Wolf range, and refrigeration by Sub-Zero were thoughtfully integrated to preserve the room’s balance and design.
